FRI, Feb 25th - Maracangalha @ Circo Voador

If you, as every traveler (not tourist) is tired of going clubbing with the same kind of people, music and crowded with tourists, we have the solution for you. MARACANGALHA is a party that has been gaining ground  the locals on the weekends,  and stands out for one reason: only plays Brazilian Music, very exciting indeed. Even if you do not know any of the songs played on the setlist, we guarantee that it will be impossible to get bored there. Known also by adding people from all tribes, musicians, artists and many  trandy people else, illustrate some of the type of  the crowd attending the party.

However, you will not see people dressed and behaving as if in a nightclub, but in search of dance, the night out, meet new people, and the most important, have much fun.

The party does a special edition of pre-carnival thisFriday at CIRCO VOADOR. Led by DJs and Aroldo Fuko, the setlist of the evening offers a tour of Brazilian dance music gathering original versions of classics ranging from Cartola and Jackson do Pandeiro by Chico Buarque Caetano, Gil, Tom Ze, Gal and Maria Bethania. Also, not left out of the contemporary Chico Science & Nação Zumbi, Mestre Ambrosio and Cordel do Fogo Encantado knows by their Maracaru beat, popular music from the North of Brazil and renowned all over the country.

Obs: The first  Maracangalha was set in November 2007 on the initiative of friends who felt the absence of a party where they could listen and dance to the best of national music.
